29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) Top of New Field House Building - Employees installed wood nailers on the metal roof deck's edge, and the employees did not use any fall protection system, exposing the employees to falling to grade level on the east, north, and south sides of the building, on or about May 26, 2023.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and shall state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
