Employee(s) were exposed to fall hazards of 12.7 feet from the working surface to the ground in that fall protection was not utilized. Ludwin Urbina was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1628214, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01-11-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 3403 W 158th Terrace Overland Park, KS 66224.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: At the temporary jobsite located at 11801 W 170th St. Overland Park, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12.7 feet from the upper working area to the concrete floor below. Employees used an 8 foot A-frame ladder to reach a upper working surface. Ludwin Urbina was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1479599, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09-14-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 15900 W 96th St. Lenexa, KS 66227.
