29 CFR 1910.265(c)(18)(i): Conveyors were not constructed operated or maintained in accordance with ANSI ASME B20.1 safety standards for conveyors and related equipment. A) Hickman Lumber Company on or about June 01 , 2023 at the address of 4965 Emlenton Clintonville, Rd. Emlenton, PA: Employees were exposed to in running nip points on the Green Chain Conveyor return line. An accident occurred in which an employees finger was caught in the return chain conveyor of the green line chain, while moving boards on the conveyor line. B) Hickman Lumber Company on or about June 15, 2023 at the address of 4965 Emlenton Clintonville, Rd. Emlenton, PA: employees are exposed to 4 unguarded chain and sprockets roughly 3 feet off of the ground on the west side of the green chain conveyor at the end of the chain conveyor. Each chain and sprocket moves material down the chain that carries lumber down the line. C) Hickman Lumber Company on or about June 15, 2023 at the address of 4965 Emlenton Clintonville, Rd. Emlenton, PA: employees are exposed to 5 unguarded chain and sprockets roughly 3 feet off of the ground on the south side of the Cornell Trimmer chain conveyor moving material to the green chain conveyor.

Emlenton, PA: employees are exposed to 2 unguarded chain and sprockets roughly 3 feet off of the ground in the middle of the green chain conveyor located on the inside of the conveyor line. Each chain and sprocket powers the chain that carries lumber down the line on one power transmission system. B) Hickman Lumber Company on or about June 15, 2023 at the address of 4965 Emlenton Clintonville, Rd. Emlenton, PA: employees are exposed an unguarded chain and sprockets roughly 3 feet off of the ground in the middle of the green chain conveyor located on the inside of the conveyor line on the infeed side of the 90 degree bend. Each chain and sprocket powers the chain that carries lumber down the line on one power transmission system.

Emlenton, PA: employees are exposed to falls from an elevated surface into the Cornell drop saw trimmer located in the main plant without the benefit of a guardrail system or travel restraint system.
