29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet, section 5.8.4: A) Hickman Lumber Company on or about June 15, 2023 at the address of 4965 Emlenton Clintonville, Rd. Emlenton, PA: Employees use oxygen and acetylene tanks for cutting operations without the tanks being secure, the tanks are free standing during cutting operations. The cylinders were located on the north side of the main facility next to the wood conveyor.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): A) Hickman Lumber Company on or about June 15, 2023 at the address of 4965 Emlenton Clintonville, Rd. Emlenton, PA: Employees are exposed to electrical shocks due to live wiring not being secured in a junction box or other type of enclosure during normal operations. The box was located on the East side of the plant at the de-barking machine.
