Each such employee shall be trained to know at least the following: 29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1)(iv): The limitations of the PPE; a.) On or about June 9, 2023, the employer did not adequately train employees on the hazards of wearing wet PPE in the -10 F freezer. Employees were not aware wet or damp PPE even from sweat can facilitate heat loss and increase the risk of cold stress related injuries.
