29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking -working surface with an unprotected side and edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. 340 E 138th. St., Chicago, IL 60827 - On or about June 21, 2023, at the compounding filling tanks, an employee, a project engineer, used a step platform to stand on top of a filling tank to adjust a level sensor without being provided means of fall protection, which exposed the employee to a fall hazard between four (4) feet one (1) inch to twenty-two (22) feet.
