29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or perso(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATIONS AND/OR CONDITIONS)(DESCRIBE HAZARD(S) WHERE NECESSARY) Location: 2899 Cranberry Hwy. East Wareham MA, 02538 On June 23rd, 2023, employees were exposed to falls from heights up to twenty feet to the ground while removing an existing commercial roof where fall protection was not utilized. The Active Pro Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1431577 citation number 01, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/05/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 80 Lowell Street, LEXINGTON, MA.
