29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, form and scrap lumber with protruding nails, and all other debris, was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures: a) On June 27, 2023 and at times prior thereto; the controlling employer, A & A Construction & Development, Inc., did not ensure that their employees were protected and that the sub-contractor(s) protected its employees from trip and slip hazards due to the accumulation of debris. Note) Documentation and certification of corrective action are required for this item. A & A Construction & Development, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1389897, citation number 1, item number 1/b, and was affirmed as a final order on 06/18/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1120 East 4th, Post Falls, ID 83854.
