OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from hazards associated with struck by hazards: a) Unified Natural Foods Inc. at 17901 E 40th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011: On or about July 17, 2023, and at times before, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while working in and around industrial steel storage racks that had damaged cross braces.

1910.303(g)(1)(i)(B): For electric equipment operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, and likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized, the width of the working space in front of electrical equipment was less than the width of the equipment or 762 mm (30 inches), whichever was greater : a) Trash Compactor, Unified Natural Foods Inc. at 17901 E 40th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011: On or about July 17, 2023, and at times prior, employer failed to remove storage materials including a floor scrubber from in front of the compactor/baler shutoff lever. b) Forklift Battery Charging Stations, Unified Natural Foods Inc. at 17901 E 40th Ave. Aurora, CO 80011: On or about July 17, 2023, and at times prior, employer failed to remove storage materials including pallets from in front of the electrical breaker panels.
