One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.  On or about July 21, 2023, at an establishment located at 41 Main Street in Menasha, Wisconsin, the employer did not provide machine guarding to protect operators and other employees on the production floor from hazards, such but not limited to:  a) On or about July 21, 2023, in the Folding Dept, the employer did not protect employees from the ingoing nip points presented by the conveyor on the back side of FT Maxi fold machine.  b) On or about July 21, 2023, in the Folding Dept, the employer did not protect employees from the ingoing nip points presented by the conveyor on the back side of Chicago fold machine #1.  c) On or about July 21, 2023, in the Folding Dept, the employer did not protect employees from the ingoing nip points presented by the conveyor on fold conveyor #1.  d) On or about July 21, 2023, in the Folding Dept, the employer did not protect employees from the ingoing nip points presented by the route make up conveyor on the driven side of the conveyor in the fold dept.  e) On or about July 21, 2023, in the Route Make-Up Dept, the employer did not protect employees from the ingoing nip points presented by the route make up conveyor at the drive side of the conveyor.  f) On or about July 21, 2023, on the Voss Line, the employer did not protect employees from the automated shuttle.  g) On or about July 21, 2023, on the Gerbau Line, the employer did not protect employees from the automated shuttle.
