ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.4 The eyewash unit shall be located on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment.  Main Kitchen: On and/or before July 26, 2023, employee(s) used corrosive chemical(s) such as Glisten Grease Buster Food Service Degreaser & Grill Cleaner to preform cleaning tasks in the kitchen. The employer did not provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to eye redness, swelling, and/or corneal abrasion.
