29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  (a) On or about July 27, 2023, an employee conducting servicing/maintenance and inspection activities on the condensers and DC engine room, were exposed to a 12.5 foot fall hazard to the lower level from the unprotected side adjacent to the stair access point, north of the condensers.  (b) On or about July 27, 2023, an employee conducting servicing/maintenance and inspection activities on the condensers and DC engine room, were exposed to fall hazard of 35 feet to the lower level, from the unprotected side near the roof hatch access point south of the DC engine room.
