29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17): The attachment point of the body belt shall be located in the center of the wearer's back. The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head. On or about July 24, 2023, Employee were exposed to fall hazards between 20 feet and 25 feet high while performing roofing operations on a residential property. Two employees were observed not using fall protection correctly when his lifeline lanyard was connected to the front of his harness while performing roofing operations. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
