29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) On or about July 18, 2023, employees were exposed to injuries from falls, while conducting roofing activities, without the benefit of fall protection systems being in place, on a roof in excess of six feet above the lower surface. MTL Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1529559, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 11, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 5960 Farthing Dr., Colorado Springs, CO.
