29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. (A) On June 20, 2024, and at times prior, the employer, MTL Construction, LLC., exposed its employees to eye hazards while operating a pneumatic nail gun while conducting re-roofing construction on a residential home located at 16667 East Berry Place, Centennial, CO 80015. MTL Construction, LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1688748, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/05/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4063 Silver Star Grove, Colorado Springs, CO 80229.

MTL Construction, LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1688748 , citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/05/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4063 Silver Star Grove, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.
