29 CFR 1926.555(a)(8): All conveyors in use shall meet the applicable requirements for design, construction, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as prescribed in the ANSI B20.1-1957, Safety Code for Conveyors, Cableways, and Related Equipment. On or about August 3, 2023, with respect to a worksite located at 880 S. View Drive, Mosinee, WI 54455, employees were exposed to potential caught-in and shear-point hazards while conducting belt tracking on newly installed conveyor lines without the protections outlined in Section 6, Part 604 and Section 10, Paragraph (e) of ANSI B20.1-1957, Safety Code for Conveyors, Cableways, and Related Equipment.
