29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition. (a) On or about August 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the exit stairwell that leads to the roof of building 23 was inspected regularly and as necessary, to ensure the metal stairwell was securely fastened to the building. This exposed employees and other associated contractors to a fall and crush hazard.
