Location: 70 Herring Brook Way, Hanover, MA  On August 24, 2023, employees were exposed to struck by hazards not wearing eye protection while using  pneumatic nail guns.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  Location: 70 Herring Brook Way, Hanover, MA  On August 24, 2023, workers were exposed to fall hazards of up to 22 feet to the ground below while working on a roof where fall protection was not used.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Location: 70 Herring Brook Way, Hanover, MA  On August 24, 2023, an employee was exposed to falls from heights up to 22 feet to the ground while installing roof sheathing where fall protection training was not provided to recognize and minimize fall hazards.

29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(ii):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:  Location: 70 Herring Brook Way, Hanover, MA  On August 24, 2023, employees were seen walking on stairs inside a construction project without railings on stairways. The missing railings could result in a fall hazard.
