29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: The employer was failing to protect employees from amputation hazards. This was most recently documented at James Skinner Baking Company located at 4651 F Street, Omaha, Nebraska in the Panning Area on September 30, 2023. The employer failed to ensure the panning conveyor was guarded in such a manner as to prevent employees from contacting the sprocket beneath the conveyor.
