29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2):Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: (a) on or about 8/2/2023 and at times prior thereto, in the machine shop at the Portland Moorings location of the Army Corps of Engineers, employees were exposed to the hazards of smoke inhalation and burns in that the portable fire extinguishers were not being inspected on a monthly basis. One feasible method of abatement, among others, is to ensure that all portable fire extinguishers are inspected every month.
