29 CFR 1910.147(e)(1): Before lockout or tagout devices were removed and energy was restored to the machine or equipment, authorized employees did not inspect the work area to ensure that nonessential items had been removed and that machine or equipment components are operationally intact: a) At the cooker: On or about 9/12/2023, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards, in that a Crown Cooker was not inspected to ensure combustible materials were removed prior to operation inside the Crown Cooker.
