29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a)Giron Roofing and Home Exteriors, LLC at 8801 West 32nd Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106: On or about and at times prior to September 11, 2023 the exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards when performing residential roofing activities by use of an appropriate fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than six feet. Giron Roofing and Home Exteriors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1619675, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on March 8, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4300 South Technology Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
