29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 129 Richardson Ave, Atco, NJ: Employees assigned to demo and reinstall residential roofing materials were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10ft when the employer failed to ensure that they were protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Condition observed September 14, 2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
