29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about September 9, 2023, at 5462 Innovation Drive, Valley City, OH 44280, the employer failed to ensure employees working with or around the 48 edger were protected from crushing hazards in that the stabilizer hydraulic arm was not guarded and came down onto an employee's foot.
