29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: At a worksite located at 27419 Cedar Grove Dr., Lake Lotawana, MO, 64086, employees were exposed to struck by hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize a pneumatic nail gun without utilizing appropriate eye protection, which could result in the employees getting debris in their eyes. This hazard was most recently observed on or about 10/3/2023. Pettengill Family Restoration was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1563089, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/10/2022, with respect to a workplace located at NW Tiffany Springs Rd & NW Old Stagecoach, Kansas City, MO 64154.

The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to work at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of any fall protection or mitigation measures. This hazard was most recently observed on or about 10/3/2023. Pettengill Family Restoration was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1596526, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/12/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #35 E.
