OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fire, explosion, and/or deflagration hazards from dust collection systems that were not equipped with devices and systems to prevent the propagation of deflagration and associated flame fronts through the collection system ductwork and back into the building:  A.) Pennsylvania Grain Processing, LLC, 250 Technology Drive Clearfield, PA 16830 - On or about 10/04/2023 and at times prior thereto, employees were potentially exposed to fire, burn, and deflagration hazards from dust collectors, and their associated ductwork, that were not equipped with devices and systems to prevent the propagation of deflagration and associated flame fronts from the collectors through the associated ductwork, back into the building, and to the process areas. The dust collectors processed combustible grain dust in areas including but not limited to hammermills, dried distilled grain, and the grain receiving process areas.
