29 CFR 1915.12(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that each employee entering a confined or enclosed space or other areas with dangerous atmospheres was trained to perform all required duties safely. a) On or about October 5, 2023, and at times prior thereto, Global Marine Enterprise Inc. employees who were not trained to safely perform all required duties were exposed to occupational injury and illness while performing maintenance in Gray Water Tank 12 on the Starboard side of the Ruby Princess Cruise ship which was drydocked at the Vigor Shipyard in Portland, OR.
