29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about October 5th, 2023 employees at 568 High Rd., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 were exposed to unprotected fall hazards in excess of 10 feet during residential roofing activities. The employer did not ensure they were adequately trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with falls. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d). Lagunes Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 1447351, Citation 1, Item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 14th, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 724 N West Street, Wheaton, IL 60187
