29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): Working space for equipment likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized was used for storage:  Bldg. 22054TA, Locker Room, Storage Closet:  On and/or before October 11, 2023, the employer permitted materials to be stored directly in front of an electrical panel. This condition interferes with access and immediate shutdown of a circuit in the panel, particularly in the event of an emergency. Employee(s) were exposed to the potential of electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s).   MCI West Recycling Center was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1585674, citation number 1, item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on June 7th, 2022 , with respect to a workplace located at 4th St and C Ave, Bldg. 22054T, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and cables were used as a substitute for fixed wiring of a structure:  Bldg. 22054TA, Locker Room:  On and/or before October 11, 2023, the employer did not ensure the temporary yellow extension cord used for an air conditioner was not installed as fixed wiring for permanent power. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to fire and/or electrical hazards.  MCI West Recycling Center was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1585674, citation number 1, item number 7 and was affirmed as a final order on June 07, 2023 , with respect to a workplace located at 4th St and C Ave, Bldg. 22054T, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055.
