29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. In the Machine Shop area for a facility located at 6670 Spring Lake Road, in Keystone Heights, Florida: On or about October 13, 2023, the employer exposed employees a struck-by hazard created by flying debris, in that the Sharp Milling machine did not have a debris guard installed while employees performed milling operations.
