29 CFR 1926.451(h)(1):Each employee on a scaffold was not provided with additional protection from falling hand tools, debris, and other small objects through the installation of toeboards, screens, guardrail systems, or through the erection of debris nets, catch platforms, or canopy structures that contain or deflect the falling objects: (a) on or about 10/1/2023 and at times prior thereto, siding workers were performing removal and replacement activities on a scaffold located at 925 SW Naterlin Drive, Newport, Oregon exposing workers on lower levels to falling objects because the scaffold did not have toe boards, or other methods of preventing falling object hazards, and no warning signs or exclusionary areas were posted.
