29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points:  a) Wabtec US Rail, Inc. 2901 East Lake Road, Erie, PA  16531, Building 12; Boot Room: On or about October 24, 2023, supplies and materials used to create boot labels were permanently stored in areas which caused them to protrude into the walkways.  The protrusion of stored items into the aisles caused a decrease in aisle width, from 28 inches down to widths of 11.5-16 inches at various points.  The walkways led to the exits from the Boot Room.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
