29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(ii):Each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level where leading edges are under construction, but who is not engaged in the leading edge work, shall be protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. If a guardrail system is chosen to provide the fall protection, and a controlled access zone has already been established for leading edge work, the control line may be used in lieu of a guardrail along the edge that parallels the leading edge. On or about October 23, 2023 employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on decking more than 6 feet above the next level surface without fall protection.

On or about October 23, 2023, employees engaged in roofing operations were exposed to eye injuries due to be using a pneumatic nail guns without face or eye protection Martin Sanchez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1626436, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/26/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1915 135th Street Lubbock TX 79423.
