On November 6, 2023, employees handing framing material up to employees working above were not wearing hardhats and exposed to struck-by hazards from falling objects.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). On or about November 6, 2023, employees were performing framing activities on a 2 story residential house approximately 12 feet in height without the use of fall protection, exposing employees to fall hazards. Mr. Antonio Ortiz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1513187, citation number 01 , item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on March 16, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 307 Greenhill Ave, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182.
