29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, or chemical gases or vapors: On or about November 8, 2023, at times prior thereto, employees were performing clean-in-place operations while using hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, 3449 (Caustic CIP), 9451 (Passivation Acid), and CHEMSANHQ without adequate eye protection.
