29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.2 Reference: The eyewash unit shall be in accessible locations that require no more than 10 seconds to reach, located on the same level as the hazard, and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment. Butcher Shop and Warehouse: On and/or before November 7, 2023, employees conducted floor cleaning operations using corrosive products and other hazardous sanitizers without an available eye wash station within 10 seconds to reach and a path of travel that was free of obstructions which potentially exposed to retinal and/or corneal burns.
