29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a) On or about November 7, 2023, employees conducting roofing work on a 6:12 pitch roof  as part of the main house structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 17 feet 4 inches, on the West  side of the roof.   (b) On or about November 7, 2023, employees conducting roofing work on a 6:12 pitch  roof  on the detached  garage were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately nine (9) feet, on the South side of the roof, and 18 feet  on the West side of the roof.  E & P Exteriors Inc. dba Eber Portillo was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446556, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 28, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 515 E. Main Street, Stoughton, WI. 53589.  E & P Exteriors Inc. dba Eber Portillo was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446556, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 7, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 516 Ranch Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187.
