29 CFR 1910.134(i)(5)(iv): The employer did not ensure that compressors used to supply breathing air to respirators were constructed and situated so as to have a tag maintained at the compressor containing the signature of the person authorized by the employer to perform the change: a.) Champion Carrier Corporation, 2755 Kirila Blvd, Hermitage, PA 16148, on or about November 9, 2023, and times prior thereto: employees were utilizing supplied breathing air from two oil-lubricated Ingersoll Rand air compressors (Model: R160n Nirvana VSD Efficiency) and one oil-lubricated Gardner Denver air compressor (Model: Electra-Saver II) through a supplied air respirator associated with six Radex airline filter systems. The company's six filter systems did not include signatures of the person that last performed the filter change out. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
