29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) 10 East 44th Street, Beach Haven, NJ: Workers engaged in siding installation and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards, up to and more than 22 feet to the ground surface below, when walking on and working on a metal plank and pump jack scaffold system on the side of a residential structure without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 11/15/2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
