29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm. a) Fire station 1: On or about November 15, 2023, employees performed vehicle operation checks in Bay 1 which is an enclosed parking garage with no ventilation exposing employees to diesel exhaust and a health hazard. b) Fire station 1: On or about November 15, 2023, employees performed vehicle operation checks in Bay 3 which is an enclosed parking garage with no ventilation exposing employees to diesel exhaust and a health hazard.

29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm. a) Fire Station 1: On or about November 15, 2023, employee dormitories with a communicating attached garage did not have carbon monoxide alarms or detectors installed. The attached garage has mechanical ventilation discrepancies exposing employees to carbon monoxide health hazards.
