29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  A) 55 Wildwood Ave Edison, NJ 08837 - An employee was not wearing appropriate eye protections when using an air pressure nail gun, MAX CN445R3, to prevent eye injuries.   Hazards observed on or about November 8, 2023.  Tiger Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1572896, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 281 E Crescent Ave Mahwah, NJ 07430.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  A) 55 Wildwood Ave Edison, NJ 08837 - The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in roofing activities were protected from falls by the use of a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to falls of approx. 25'.   Hazards observed on or about November 8, 2023.  Tiger Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1572896, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 281 E Crescent Ave Mahwah, NJ 07430.

A) 55 Wildwood Ave Edison, NJ 08837 - The employer did not ensure to extend the ladder side rails at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to assist employee engaged in roofing activities. This condition exposed employees to falls of approx. 25 feet.   Hazards observed on or about November 8, 2023.  Tiger Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1572896, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 281 E Crescent Ave Mahwah, NJ 07430.
