29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) The Home Depot at 500 Commons Drive, Parkesburg, PA - Lumber Department: On or about December 19, 2023, the employer did not provide permanent wiring to power a refrigerator used in the lumber department. The employer used a temporary extension cord to power a refrigerator in lieu of permanent wiring for an extended period, thereby exposing employees to electrical hazards.
