29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields On or about 02/2/2024 and prior, Arizon Companies located at 2100 Walton Road, in St. Louis Missouri, did not ensure the welders contained the welding activity inside the welding curtain or shield thus exposing other workers who were in the adjacent perimeter. Employees were exposed to the radiation rays produced by the welding arc and were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields or required to wear appropriate goggles.
