29 CFR 1926.960(c)(2)(i): When an employee uses rubber insulating gloves as insulation from energized parts (under paragraph (c)(1)(iii)(A) of this section), the employer shall ensure that the employee also uses rubber insulating sleeves. On or about January 2, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees wore all appropriate personal protection equipment while working near energized parts of a power distribution line, exposing them to arc flash hazards.
