The employer must ensure: (d)(2): Hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. If the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard must be guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired; and a) On or about 12/26/2023, the employer did not ensure that a protruding and damage expansion joint by door 35 in receiving was repaired or guarded before an employee on a forklift (Crown SC S200 Series SN:9A179981) drove over the expansion joint. b) On or about 1/17/2023, the employer did not ensure that a protruding and damage expansion joint by rack LF02 was repaired or guarded before employees on PIVs used the walking working surface. c) On or about 1/17/2023, the employer did not ensure that a protruding and damage expansion joint by rack KL93 was repaired or guarded before employees on PIVs used the walking working surface. d) On or about 1/17/2023, the employer did not ensure that a protruding and damage expansion joint by rack JF9A was repaired or guarded before employees on PIVs used the walking working surface.
