29 CFR 1910.176(a):Use of mechanical equipment. Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances shall be allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage must be made. Aisles and passageways shall be kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. Permanent aisles and passageways shall be appropriately marked. a) On or about 3/26/2024, employer did not ensure that stacked objects such as but not limited to black plastic pallets in a congested aisle way did not obstruct clearance and vision for an employee operating a Crown Forklift (SN: 9A144961) out of dock door 26 which resulted in an employee being struck by the forklift.
