29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At a commercial worksite located at 7510 N Oak Tfwy, KC MO -- employee engaged in framing and constructing a deck/balcony was not protected from falling with the use of a guardrail or personal fall arrest systems. This exposed the employee to fall hazards greater than 10 feet to ground level. This was documented on or about 01/04/2024.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. At a commercial worksite located at 7510 N Oak Tfwy KC MO -- employee engaged in framing duties using a pneumatic nail gun was not wearing eye protection. This exposed the employee to debris getting in their eyes causing injury. This was documented on or about 01/04/2024. JMC General Contractor, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1621549, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/23/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 28 of the Venue, Raymore MO.
