1910.176(c) Storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constituted hazards from tripping, fire, explosion or pest harborage:  a)	Georgia-Pacific Panel Products, LLC, Dieffenbacher Press area, on or about January 10th, 2024, and times prior thereto:  Employees were potentially exposed to fire hazards in that, a wood dust "ball" accumulated in the "Platen and simultaneous arm" area of the Dieffenbacher Press after a press blow down procedure.  The employer did not establish a procedure for employees to verify that dust did not accumulate in areas including, but not limited to the Platen and simultaneous arm areas of the press after scheduled blow down procedures of the press.   b)	Georgia-Pacific Panel Products, LLC, on or about January 10th, 2024, and times prior thereto:  Employees were potentially exposed to fire hazards in that, combustible wood dust accumulated underneath the Dieffenbacher Press area (cylinder area) after a press blow down procedure.  The employer did not establish a procedure for employees to verify that dust did not accumulate underneath the Dieffenbacher Press area after scheduled blow down procedures of the press.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
