29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Every enclosed workplace was not so constructed, equipped, and maintained, so far as reasonably practicable, as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, and other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where their presence was detected. a) Establishment: On or about January 22, 2024, employees were exposed to health hazards, such as hantavirus, from mice infestation in 2 South, 3 South, 4 South, Pharmacy, and Marion Hall after attempts from a pest control service were not effective.
