29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Restaurant: On or about January 25, 2024, employees operated one of two Cookshack model FEC 750 Rotisserie Smokers located in a back room inside the restaurant, adding wood pellets periodically. Employees are exposed to wood smoke from hickory wood pallets in the kitchen. Employer did not provide Hazard Communication training to employees.
